Starting from 28th October 2024, the minimum requirement to obtain a DVS Permit, without fitting a Safety System, is increasing from a one-star to a three-star rating. Any permits for vehicles with a zero, one or two-star rating will expire at midnight on 27th October, meaning fleet managers must ensure their vehicles meet the new safety standard before then.
