Durite Add Brake Light Cameras to Range
Vehicle safety specialist Durite is expanding its van range with reverse-view brake light cameras.
Brake light cameras are retrofitted to the vehicle, replacing the existing brake light assembly and enhancing rear visibility, while retaining brake light function and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Offering a wide-angle view, they provide the driver with extra visibility and reduce manoeuvring errors - particularly when reversing.
Light commercial vehicle operators can choose from a range of universal kits compatible with major makes and models. Alternatively, they can create a customised solution using Durite’s online kit builder.
Covering 10 leading brands including Ford, Mercedes and Volkswagen, the kit builder features 11 cameras and a choice of mirror-mounted monitor or 7-inch display screen.
Both monitors have dual camera inputs, allowing for the addition of a side-mounted camera where needed.

Each kit comes with all the necessary cables needed to power the cameras and brake lights, while sending the signal from the cameras to the monitor. They are designed to be quick and easy to install.
